On June 20, 2026, Thrive Maternal Health Fund’s Maternal Mental Health Advocate and Educator, Diana Bamford, participated in the Family & Care Match Event in Los Angeles. This unique event brought together families and trusted childcare professionals—including nannies, newborn care specialists, doulas, night nannies, and agencies—to create meaningful connections and support families in finding the care that best meets their needs.
Diana had the opportunity to speak about the importance of maternal mental health, educate families and professionals about the emotional transition into parenthood, and highlight resources available to support mothers during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Events like these help strengthen the network of care surrounding families and reinforce the message that supporting mothers is essential to the health and well-being of the entire family.
Thrive Maternal Health Fund was honored to be part of this community event dedicated to connecting families with compassionate, qualified professionals who support parents during one of life’s most transformative seasons.
As part of our mission, we are committed to educating anyone who works with women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. By increasing awareness of the warning signs of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, we can help ensure that families receive timely support, appropriate resources, and compassionate care when they need it most.
